Polishing your jewels…

deluxe 1010

About This Game

A tray of three jewels. A hundred little spaces. deluxe 1010 turns an empty square board into a test of shape and foresight. Arrange faceted pieces, finish whole rows or columns, and uncover room for your next move. Sapphire, emerald and ruby colors are decoration: every complete line counts.

This is one continuous score challenge, with no stages to unlock and no countdown to race. The three pieces stay in your tray until you place them, and a fresh trio arrives only when all three are used. Keep a home for the awkward shapes and see how far your plan can carry you.

Game Features

  • A fixed 10 × 10 board and three-piece rounds, identical on desktop and mobile.
  • Faceted jewel pieces with fixed orientations, from a single square to long bars and the 3 × 3 block.
  • Complete rows and columns clear together; the rest of the board stays exactly where you placed it.
  • Transparent scoring: 5 points per placed square, 100 per cleared line, plus a bonus for clearing several lines at once.
  • Consecutive clearing moves earn Combo feedback without adding a second score multiplier.
  • Automatic local saving for your board, remaining pieces, score and records when browser storage is available.
  • A pure placement challenge: no rotation, bombs, shuffling, reserve slots or paid rescues.

For another placement challenge, try Block Garden. Its garden setting, tools and fixed puzzles offer a different rhythm. Or make room for colorful blocks in Block Blast Unblocked.

How to Play

  1. Look at all three pieces before choosing one. Drag a piece onto the board, or select it and then choose its landing. The whole shape must fit within the grid on empty squares.
  2. Use pieces in their shown orientation. They cannot rotate, flip or split. An invalid drop returns the piece to its tray without changing the board or score.
  3. Fill every square in a row or column to clear that line. All lines completed by one move clear together. A crossing square disappears once, and the other jewels do not fall.
  4. Place all three pieces to receive the next tray. You choose their order; placing one piece does not refresh the other two.
  5. Earn 5 points for each square you place and 100 for each line you clear. Clearing two lines at once adds 50 points, three adds 150, and four or more adds 300.
  6. Keep playing while at least one remaining piece has a legal landing. The run ends only when none of the pieces still in the tray can fit. Restart begins a fresh board and keeps your local record.

Controls

Drag a tray piece with the mouse, then release over a valid landing preview. Press 1–3 to select, arrows to move the landing, Enter or Space to place, and P to pause. Alternatively, select a piece and click its landing on the board. The selected piece follows a fixed occupied center square, so an L-shaped piece never anchors to an empty corner. Use the controls inside the stage to pause, restart or change sound.

Drag one piece with a finger and check the raised landing preview before releasing. The preview sits above your finger to keep the target visible. You can also tap a piece and then tap its landing. Dragging a tray piece keeps the page still; normal page scrolling remains available outside the gesture.

Tips & Strategies

  • Find a landing for the largest piece first, even when you intend to place something smaller before it. A quick small move can close the only useful opening.
  • Keep broad spaces connected. Several isolated empty squares will not hold a square block, a T or a bent piece.
  • Count the empty squares in a nearly full line, then compare their arrangement with the whole shape. Matching the number of squares alone is not enough.
  • Look for a row and column that share one gap. Filling the crossing can clear two lines in one placement and earn the multi-line bonus.
  • Think through the whole tray. Clearing a line with the first piece may create a new landing for a piece that cannot fit yet.
  • A Combo celebrates consecutive clearing placements, but does not multiply your points. Preserve useful space instead of taking a cramped clear only for the label.

FAQ

Do jewel colors have to match?
No. Any mixture of colors can fill a row or column. Shape, free space and the ten-square line determine a clear.
Can I rotate, flip or exchange a piece?
No. Each shape keeps its displayed orientation, and you cannot refresh an unfinished tray. Different orientations are separate shapes in the piece library.
When does the game give me three new pieces?
Only after all three current pieces have been placed. You may choose their order, and the remaining pieces stay unchanged after each move.
How many points is a row-and-column crossing worth?
Two cleared lines give 200 points plus a 50-point multi-line bonus, for 250 clear points. You also receive 5 points for every square in the piece you just placed. The crossing cell is removed once.
Does Combo multiply my score?
No. Two or more consecutive clearing placements trigger Combo feedback. Each move still uses the same placement, line and multi-line scoring rules; a placement without a clear ends that streak.
Why can I keep playing when one piece does not fit?
Only all remaining pieces being blocked ends the run. Another piece might still fit, and its line clear may open the space you need.
Will the jewels fall into empty spaces after a clear?
No. A cleared line becomes empty, and every other jewel stays in its current cell. There is no gravity or automatic merging.
Does pausing affect my run?
Pause stops input and the active play-time counter. Returning after a refresh resumes from your saved board when storage is available; use Resume to continue. There is no time limit or score penalty.
Is this the same game as Block Garden?
No. This game has a 10 × 10 jewel board and one endless mode with no rule-changing tools. Block Garden has its own eight-by-eight board, presentation, tools and fixed puzzles. Their local progress is separate.
Does my progress carry over to another device?
This version saves in the current browser, when local storage is available. It has no account sync. Clearing site data or using a different browser can remove access to that local run and record.
