Cleaning Game
A little mess, a fresh start. Wipe, brush and put everything in its happy place.
About This Game
Make a small space feel fresh again. This satisfying cleaning game combines real dirt removal with simple object sorting across 100 jobs in eight original 2D scene families, from a dirty window to a messy bedroom.
How to Play
- Start with the dirty window: vacuum the frame dust, spray the cloudy glass, then sponge each pane in order. Cleaning is measured from the dirt pixels actually removed, so moving over an already clean area adds no progress.
- Choose the correct tool. Sponge removes smears and streaks. Vacuum removes dry debris. Spray removes soluble film and wets hardened grime. Brush removes hardened grime only after it is wet.
- In sorting scenes, drag each loose item into its matching labeled outline. The whole item must fit close to the target; a correct drop snaps into place and stays there.
- Follow the task order. Later goals stay locked until their prerequisites are complete. Each task targets 100%. Once almost all dirt has been removed, a final polish removes every remaining dirt pixel, leaving the surface completely spotless. Finish every task before time runs out. Rooms have 4-6 ordered tasks and a visible 90-240 second countdown, with time allowances based on the actual workflow. The timer starts with your first cleaning or sorting action, pauses with the game or when the tab is hidden, and stops on completion.
Controls
Mouse or touch: press and drag to clean with the selected tool. Use the tool buttons to switch functions. The icons sit inside the game frame below the scene; the glowing icon is selected. Hover or focus an icon for its name, or press its displayed number (1-4) while the canvas is focused. Drag clutter by its center into its labeled home. Release to validate the placement. Pause freezes input and the countdown. Restarting resets only the current room and its timer. If time runs out, use Retry room inside the game frame.
Game Features
- 100 jobs across eight different scene families: Dirty Window, Messy Desk, Dirty Floor, Bathroom Cleaning, Kitchen Cleaning, Car Washing, Dirty Mirror and Messy Bedroom.
- Four functional tools with different cleaning radii and dirt compatibility.
- Area-based dirt masks with visible wet grime, locked task sequences and object snapping.
- Four to six ordered cleaning tasks per room, a 90-240 second active-play countdown, local autosave including remaining time, level selection and sound controls.
Tips & Strategies
- Look at the current task and its suggested tool before switching. Corner brackets follow each actual remaining stain; the patch badge counts authored patches still containing dirt. A locked goal cannot be cleaned until earlier work is finished.
- Spraying hardened grime changes its wetness but does not count as removing it. Switch to Brush to lift the wet dirt.
- Use overlapping strokes around a stain's edges. The task percentage comes from covered dirt pixels, not how far your finger moves.
- Return clutter first when a room asks for sorting. A misplaced object returns to its original position so you can try again.
FAQ
Is this cleaning game online a 3D simulator?
It is a lightweight 2D Canvas game with 100 jobs across eight compact scene families. You clean visible dirt and organize objects using mouse or touch controls.
Why is the brush not removing a stain?
Brush is designed for hardened grime. First wet that grime with Spray, then switch to Brush. Smears need Sponge, and dry debris needs Vacuum.
Why did the cleaning percentage stop increasing?
You may be moving over clean pixels, using an incompatible tool, or working on a locked goal. Read the task list and current tool feedback. Repeated strokes over a cleared patch do not create progress.
Can I fail a room cleaning level?
Yes. Finish all tasks before the countdown reaches zero. Wrong tools and misplaced objects use time without completing tasks. Retry room gives the current scene a fresh timer and resets its dirt; previously completed rooms stay completed. Loading, pausing and hidden-tab time do not count. Reloading restores the saved remaining time.
